Thanksgiving is right around the corner (how did that happen?!) and dreams of pumpkin pie are floating through my head already. Yum! Every year I cook a gigantic dinner for me and the hubby. There are only two of us, but we go all out - minus the turkey, of course. I know, I know.. it's the best part. It's the vegetarian in me, I just can't do it. So I make up for it with pies and other yummy treats, like this Pumpkin Pie from Martha Stewart. It is the BEST thing ever. For real.
Speaking of my other favorite things, this thankful for you card is my pick to send out to all of our out-of-state loved ones this year. We wish we could fly them all down to eat pie and watch the parade. Hopefully, they will feel just as loved when they get this is the mail.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner and we've got you covered. We have 14 new cards this year with a few new looks for some old crowd favorites like Nuts About You and I Love You Like Crazy. We're also very excited to announce our recent paper change - we're now using a heavier 100# card stock that is 100% recycled. We absolutely love it and think you will too!
Be sure to check out the backs of the cards. Many of them have cute design elements that add a special touch. (Psst.. additional product photos can be found on the right-hand side of each product page under the shopping cart.)
We have a few new cards in the shop to celebrate the wonderfulness that is autumn. It's just starting to feel like fall here in Charlotte and I'm loving it. The leaves are starting to fade to yellow and fall from the trees. We've been spending our weekends touring the local (and not so local) cider mills. It's the best time of the year! Bring on the cider and donuts :)
Just a little shop update to announce all of the new goodies in the shop.
All new Father's day cards are here - TONS of them! We have the perfect card for your dad, stepdad and your grandpa. I don't know exactly why, but making father's day cards are my favorite things to create. (Sorry, mom.)
It's almost the end of February, friends! I am particularity excited about that because it means the possibility of warmer weather, especially for us Michigan folks. It also means that Easter is right around the corner. It's the perfect time to get a head start on your Easter Cards, you know, if you do that sort of thing. I think sending an Easter card to loved ones we don't get to see is always such a nice thing. We've got a whole bunch of new cards this year, ready for the picking. This one is my favorite :)
We're welcoming a new note card set to the shop this week, perfect for when congratulations are in order. These cards are sold in sets of 8 and come with 2 of each design: Congrats, Yay!, Nicely Done! and Woohoo. All of our cards are produced on recycled materials by hand in our SE Michigan studio. Find them in the shop here.
The Valentine's Day cards are here, a whole mess of them. They are all hand lettered and illustrated by me and produced on 100% recycled materials. All of the cards are 5x7 and blank inside so you can write your own cheesy message. We are especially smitten with the new line of animal cards. There is just something about a cute, fuzzy critter that makes you feel all lovey inside.
So that title didn't work out quite as well as I was hoping, but we've got a new line of birthday cards nonetheless. And with every new line I launch I get more and more excited, because that means we are that much closer to having a full line of greeting cards, which is my ultimate goal right now. So to kickoff our birthday line we have seven, fresh off the press, beauties. They are all 5"x7", hand illustrated and printed on natural recycled cover stock. Click on each image to go to the shop listing for more information.

The Mother's Day Greeting Cards have arrived in the shop. All of the cards are standard A7 greeting card size (5x7) and printed on a heavy recycled card stock in a speckled cream color. Cards come with an A7 envelope in purple, blue or natural, depending on the design. HPC has recently invested in a wonderful printer that we are going to be printing our own greeting cards on. I was a little nervous about making this move, but after seeing the amazing quality of the test prints I'm so excited about it.

How fun are these new cards? The neon trend is in full swing right now and I feel like I'm back in the 90's. I loved neon pink then and I love it still today, so it was only natural to incorporate it into some of my prints and these seemed like the perfect ones to do that with. They are spirited, peppy and begging to be sent. For those of you who aren't quite as infatuated with neon as I am, the kraft/black option might be more your style. It still makes a fun statement with a little less girl power to it. More details in the shop: Hi & Yay!
