Grey Skies

This winter is starting to feel like it may last forever. We've been watching the snow fall for months now and I don't remember a time that I have ever seen more snow on the ground. The air is crisp, the skies are grey and I'm not quite sure of the last time the sun peeked through the clouds. You know what that means, online window shopping while snuggled up under a blanket with some hot cocoa, of course. These are some of my recent Etsy favorites.

Into the Woods

I don't know about anyone else, but with the changing seasons I've been infatuated lately with the idea of buying a little cabin in the woods and cozying up there for a while. If we did I would fill it with all of these warming Etsy finds. Do you love Etsy as much as I do? I think my favorite thing about it is that you never know what you are going to find. It really makes you feel like you are finding a new treasure every time you visit.

Window Shopping

I don't spend a lot of time shopping and don't tend to put too much stock in labels (unless its Apple), but I do really love a good satchel. I've been spending a lot of time window shopping around the web and discovered that Google Shopping is awesome. If you haven't tried it out yet you should next time you are looking for something specific. In my case, I typed in camel satchel into Google and clicked on the shopping tab at the top. It showed me every camel satchel it could find and the more I clicked on different options, the more I discovered. Fantastic. Steve was helping me shop (pretty sure that was supposed to be a secret) and happened to stumbled upon it. Thank you, husband! So here are my top picks for fall. With a coupon and free shipping I couldn't help but picking up the Kendra by Jessica Simpson.

Spring Knitting

Spring is here and that means warmer temperatures and chilly offices. Perfect lacy wrap weather if you ask me. So I've rounded up my top ten patterns for some cozy spring knitting.  All of the patterns come from Ravelry and most are for purchase, but 9 and 10 are free patterns. I picked up some Stroll Tonal sock weight yarn from Knit Picks in the Thunderhead grey color and the Nefertem pattern. I can't wait to get started.

Make Everything Beautiful

This quote hits home with me so much. I have spent my entire life striving to make things around me beautiful. It is the reason why I do what I do. I saw this quote today and knew I had to incorporate it into my daily life and my business. So I made a print to hang in my office and just loved it so much that I want to share it with all of you too, to encourage everyone to make the world a more beautiful place. This print is yours. Hang it in your home or in your work space. Enjoy. And create something beautiful. xoxo

Craft Show Favorites

Well our first craft show has come and gone and I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite things that I used for the show. I spent a lot of time planning and prepping to make sure everything was just right from the displays to the packaging. We got a lot of compliments on how lovely our table was and how "super incredibly cute" the pieces were packaged. Makes me happy to think that my efforts were noticed by our amazing supporters. These details might seem small, but they make a huge impact and should not be overlooked. Craft shows are not for the faint of heart. If you are going to do it, you gotta do it right! Every piece you show is part of your brand, whether its what forms of payment you accept or the sticker you use to close your product bags. Here are some of my favorite things to help make an incredible customer experience.
