I'm partnering up with AR Workshop Davidson to teach my first-ever hand lettering class. Hooray! Local friends, come out on Dec. 6th from 7-9:30 p.m. to learn how to make your holiday mail look extra special. I will teach you my process, how I layout my designs, draw my letters and show you how to make your envelopes really pop! Not only will your recipients love them, but so will your mail carrier ;) You'll receive a packet of the same tools I use everyday to create designs for my greeting card business and handouts to take home to keep learning and practicing. Get behind the scenes knowledge about how I do what I do with guided techniques and tips to hone your new skill. It's going to be a fun night, filled with wonderful people.

What a whirlwind the last couple weeks have been! This morning I had the pleasure of appearing on NBC's Charlotte Today to talk a little bit about Hennel Paper Co. and help promote the Vintage Charlotte Winter Market that's coming up this weekend with the lovely Amy Herman, founder of Vintage Charlotte. It was so much fun and now that I survived it, I can breathe again ;)
You can watch the clip here.
Hope to see you all out this Sunday, Nov. 20th at the Fillmore from 10-5.

I can't believe the Vintage Charlotte Summer Market has already come and gone. It's been a complete whirlwind and was a total blast. I'd really like to thank everyone who attended the show. We loved getting to meet and talk with all of you so much! Being a predominately online seller, it was truly an incredible experience getting to interact with those of you who were shopping our products in-person. Being able to share our story, my design process, individual stories behind each design and getting to watch your expressions and how you reacted as you saw each item was, to say the least, really awesome. Everyone we talked to was so kind and we got to hear so many of your own unique stories, as well. So thank you, Charlotte! And a huge special thank you goes out to Amy and the VTGCLT crew for putting on such an incredible event.

We're really excited to officially announce the we're exhibiting on Papernstitch through the end of the year! If you aren't familiar, Papernstitch is an online exhibition space that was created to promote artists, designers, and makers selling handmade goods. The exhibition space is fabulously curated on a monthly basis by Brittni Mehlhoff and showcases the very best hand-picked items on an international level.
We're very very excited to be part of it. And as a little bonus we've made today's top pick and are being featured on the pns homepage! Thank you Brittni!
And like that isn't enough, we're also debuting a few new products to celebrate. These cards are available in our Etsy shop and also here on our website: Little Birdie, Rooster, Thinking of You.
While prepping for our next craft show (which is this weekend by the way, Saturday, November 10th at the Woods Church at 14300 13 Mile Rd. - Warren, MI 48088) I've been putting a list together that I thought might be helpful to share for anyone that has an upcoming show of their own. Some of these are pretty basic ideas and items and some are things I didn't think of my first time around. I really wanted to create a comprehensive list of everything you should think about and bring with you.

for what's its worth I'm going to mention scissors again for good
measure. And there it is ladies and gents. Good luck and happy selling! If you're in the Warren area this Saturday come by and see us.
Well our first craft show has come and gone and I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite things that I used for the show. I spent a lot of time planning and prepping to make sure everything was just right from the displays to the packaging. We got a lot of compliments on how lovely our table was and how "super incredibly cute" the pieces were packaged. Makes me happy to think that my efforts were noticed by our amazing supporters. These details might seem small, but they make a huge impact and should not be overlooked. Craft shows are not for the faint of heart. If you are going to do it, you gotta do it right! Every piece you show is part of your brand, whether its what forms of payment you accept or the sticker you use to close your product bags. Here are some of my favorite things to help make an incredible customer experience.
Join us this Saturday, October 27th from 9am - 4pm for the Lamphere Fall Craft Show. We will be bringing all of the goodies from our shop, plus new product lines that have not been released yet! Be the first to check out our new lines and also receive special Saturday only pricing for craft show attendees. Lamphere High School is on 13 Mile Road in Madison Heights between I-75 and John-R. If you have any questions about the show please let us know. Can't wait to see you there.
